An Easter Wedding in Cornwall
Sal and George were married last week over the Easter Holidays in the beautiful church of St Colan Parish near Newquay. They had a marquee wedding reception at Colan Barton and took a huge beach walk in the afternoon with all of their guests. A truly laid back wedding in beautiful Cornish countryside. Sal and George met at an end-of-finals house party at Warwick University. The proposal was on New Year’s Eve in Montgenevre, on the Franco-Italian border, on top of a mountain whilst on a skiing holiday with friends ( well done George – top marks for that!! ).

With many thanks to those who helped make it such a special day …

Venue: St Colan Parish Church and Colan Barton with marquee from http://www.absolutecanvas.co.uk/
Archie the VW Campervan: from VW Campers Cornwall www.vwcamperhirecornwall.com
Sal’s bouquet by Daisy Roots ( http://www.cornwallecoflorist.co.uk/ ). The bridesmaid flowers were also supplied by Dairy Roots but put together by Sal’s Nanna and Auntie Rita. The flowers in the teacups were wild flowers put together by lots of female members of the family!
The cakes were made by George’s mum, Sandra – amazingly talented but sorry folks she only bakes for family members!
Dress from White Rose, College Green Bridal, Bristol. Suits from Moss Bros, Lingfield Morning Suits. Rings from Cornish Stone Company, Newquay.
Sal says “We had lots of help from family and friends to make decorations and decorate the marquee. Special mention to my bridesmaid Nicola Hudson for making the gorgeous jars hanging in the trees and lining the carpeted entrance.”
So now all that remains is for us to wish Sal and George all the very best for the future – it was a total pleasure to be part of your wedding! Much love, Sarah and Bear Falugo of Green Photographic.
