A Wedding in the Stone Circle Field at Glastonbury
Wedding photography in Somerset has never been this special and we are very pleased to share it this morning. Maddy and Ankur had a humanist ceremony conducted by Maddy’s mum in the stone circle at Worthy Farm, site of the Glastonbury Festival . Such a unique and privileged location. It was a beautiful September day full of lots of love and laughter, and the MOST delicious Indian catering from the Thali Cafe in Bristol.
A very special exception was made for Maddy and Ankur, the site isn’t usually available for weddings – sorry folks! Just feast your eyes on this one instead of hatching plans of how to have your own here! Our photography from this amazing wedding in now published on the popular wedding blog – Love My Dress .
Maddy and Ankur had this to say about their wedding day -
“We met at university in Leeds and got engaged 18 months before getting married. Ankur proposed in Brighton whilst on impromptu weekend away, sitting on the beach together.
Somerset is a special area to both of us, because of the stunning countryside. Getting married in a field also reflected our love of the outdoors. I also grew up nearby. We used World Inspired Tents . Our style of wedding very much reflected our humanist values and our love of the outdoors – we wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere for us and our guests which was personal with minimal formality. ”
