Rosy and Tom Get Married
Rosy and Tom’s wedding was just right. They kept everything elegant and simple. The wedding venue was the The Scarlet Hotel in Mawgan Porth, a luxury eco-hotel with license for civil ceremony. I absolutely adore the way the hotel is decorated and it lends itself perfectly to photography. When I arrived to spend some time with Rosy and the girls for preparation I was struck by how well her choice of colours matched the room perfectly. Rosy’s dress was especially designed for her by Lisa Redman . The flowers are by Daisy Roots in Truro.
It was a very wet and windy December afternoon which just added to the romantic and intimate atmosphere of the wedding and made the open fires and colourful decor seem even more appropriate.
Downstairs, the ceremony room was prepared and Rosy and Tom made their entrance together. Fourteen of Rosy and Tom’s closest family and friends sat on comfy sofas with the rain quietly tapping at the window while the couple took their marriage vows.
Our photo shoot took place in a few spots on the hotel grounds – mostly in places hidden from the wind but we felt it only right to brave the elements for a few quick shots by the sea as well.
