Vicki and Pietro at The Scarlet Hotel
Scarlet Hotel Wedding Photography Cornwall – As featured on the popular wedding blog Love My Dress … Well, what can I say about Vicki and Pietro’s wedding. It really was such a beautiful and intimate day! They took so much time to plan and prepare a really bespoke event. All the details were so carefully thought out and that Jenny Packham dress is so elegant. The venue was the fabulous Scarlet Hotel in Mawgan Porth on Cornwall’s north coast, near Newquay. Vicki and Pietro invited their nearest and dearest to spend the weekend with them in the luxury eco-hotel.
Michelle from Pocketful of Dreams was on hand, she helped plan and co-ordinate the event. She will be featuring some of the images in the near future to write a behind the scenes post about the day on her blog Pocketful of Dreams .
Pietro and Vicki call each other “Pie and Mash” – this was referenced several times throughout the day. Just check out Vicki’s bespoke coat hanger for her dress! I’m a big fan of the stationary with custom made logo by
Sugalily
and the gorgeous laser cut place settings by
Cutture
.

Wedding Photography in Cornwall at The Scarlet
I always enjoy a day of wedding photography in Cornwall, at
The Scarlet Hotel
. This wasn’t technically a wedding shoot but rather a post-wedding shoot. Anne-Marie and Nick had a very quiet elopement style wedding on Wednesday and then travelled to Cornwall for their honeymoon and wedding photography with us on the beach. It was very cold – atmospheric but cold! In fact it started snowing a little while we were on the beach but I think the dark snow clouds add to the atmosphere of the photos. The wedding bouquet and buttonhole were provided by the ever creative florist, Susanne from
The Blue Carrot
and Marie-Anne’s dress is a genuine vintage purchased from a charity shop in London.
