As seen on Love My Dress – Being a wedding photographer in Cornwall is best when shooting a venue by the sea. Laura and Rob were married at St Enodoc Church in Trebetherick, near Rock. This small church nestled into a golf course in the sand dunes off the River Camel (opposite Padstow), was once covered in sand with only the wonky steeple showing and I’m told that the vicar used to climb down a rope through the steeple every now and then to give a sermon and therefore keep it registered as an active church!
Laura and Rob were lucky to have Laura’s parents’ garden as their wedding venue just a stone’s throw from both the church and nearby Daymer Bay. Rob started the day having lunch and a few drinks at St Moritz Hotel while Laura and the girls got ready at home. We spent the day with Rob and Laura and their nearest and dearest and darted out between rain showers for some photos. The speeches were hilarious and the catering absolutely first class – thanks for hosting us we had a great time and it was a pleasure to photograph your wedding!
And by the way … have you ever seen a wedding dress with pockets?!? What a great idea!
With many thanks on behalf of Laura and Rob to the suppliers who made this wedding happen:

This is so beautiful – I smiled to see the shoes eventually kicked off on the beach! They make a stunning couple, don’t they?! And not even a bit of rain could spoil Cornwall… it’s gorgeous, every last little bit.
thanks Claire – it certainly was a great wedding!
oh. my. goodness.
What an amazing wedding, beautifully shot with so much energy and life. Gorgeous couple and a wedding dress with POCKETS! Epic!
xx
thanks Debs – the wind and rain can be a challenge to shoot in but i love the atmosphere it creates – just need to get some waterproof housing for the camera!!
What a truly lovely wedding (another one captured by you Sarah!) – that food looks incredible, the yurt stunning and what a happy and in-love looking couple
Thanks Charlie – this couple are so down to earth – i loved their wedding and doing the photos was fun – even in the wind and rain that we were caught in – I love finding the spontaneous shots like walking through the hedge shortcut back to the house. x
