Wedding Preparation
To us the wedding preparation is an important part of the wedding story which should not be over-looked. For the women this is a time of great ritual when all the months of planning and styling all come together and the girls get to spend some valuable time together getting excited and anxious in equal parts about the ceremony ahead. For the guys, it’s often a time to meet for a surf or a pint and to meet and greet the guests. Below is a small taster of some wedding preps we have been lucky enough to photograph.
We find being a female wedding photographers a great bonus during the wedding preparations as we can join the girls and blend in quite easily – it’s a fun time to get to know the bridal party. If we are working with second shooters then they spend this time with the groom if he wants, or they wait at the church/pub for the guest arrivals.
