Portrait Photographer Cornwall

A few years ago we decided to ditch the studio in favour of the great outdoors and haven’t looked back. Although doing outdoor portraits has it’s challenges, the rewards are great. When taking portraits in the great outdoors we can lean on the natural surroundings to help tell a bit more of a story about where people are from, their favourite beaches and special places. The elements provide a layer of spontaneity to the photographs which cannot be obtained from a studio backdrop and most importantly … people tend to let go a bit more and get playful. When taking outdoor portrait bookings we try to be flexible with rescheduling dates if the weather gets really bad … or we get the umbrellas out and just have a laugh.
