Kynance Cove on the Lizard Peninsula is probably one of the most atmospheric beaches in Cornwall. If you haven’t visited then make time to go there, preferably not in high tourist season though because half of the charm is to have the place to yourself. As yet no real-life brides have asked me to do a shoot for them here and my mind kept spinning with gorgeous ideas for an intimate wedding celebration or even an elopement there so in the end I decided to make one up. This was an editorial shoot in collaboration with top wedding suppliers and dress designers and with the kind help of my friend and model, Jess. See below for a full list of who helped and where you could get hold of such loveliness. And if you’d like your Cornwall wedding photography to look like this then I’d love to go back and do it all again – with a real couple next time!
The two white dresses are from Maria Senvo and the mulberry dress is from Alison-Jayne Couture . The floral design and all flowers were supplied by The Blue Carrot who is Cornwall based and hair was done with the help of Roch from Hair by Rochelle . Stationery suite is courtesy of Claire Hawkes and the jewellery is care of Embers (via Not on The Highstreet). Wooden platters, cutlery, table linens and glassware was kindly loaned to me from Home Address .
This shoot is scheduled to appear in some wedding blogs and magazines over the next few months and I’m having a number of requests to feature it. Please get in touch if you’d like to and I’ll see what I can do for you.
